The Doria Feminist Fund launches a new research on: Gendered impacts of climate change and feminist climate grassroots responses in Lebanon & Syria.

 

In both contexts, climate change is not a standalone crisis. It is deeply entangled with conflict, economic collapse, displacement and structural gender inequalities.

 

This research sheds light on how these overlapping realities are reshaping women’s lives, labor, health and mobility – while highlighting the critical role of feminist and grassroots actors responding on the frontlines.
