The “Association des Rencontres Méditerranéennes du Cinéma et des Droits de l’Homme” (Mediterranean Film and Human Rights Festival Association) is launching a call for films for the next Nuit Blanche du Cinéma et de la Démocratie (White Night of Cinema and Democracy), which will be held on June 26 and 27, 2026, on the esplanade of the National Library of the Kingdom of Morocco in Rabat.

 

This exceptional night of screenings and debates invites filmmakers to explore, each in their own way, the question of democracy through cinema.

 

Who can participate?

The call is open to young filmmakers as well as established directors. All forms and styles of filmmaking are welcome: fiction, documentary, animation, experimental, essay, or hybrid formats, short, medium, or feature-length films.

 

Submission deadline:
May 10, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. (Moroccan time).
